Description of month of Rajab
Month of rajab is 7th month of islamic calendar. month of rajab is one of four month in which battle are prohibited. Prophet Mohammad S.A.W. said Rajab is month of Allah Pak and Saban is my month and Ramazan is month of my ummah. The name of Rajab literally designated to the meaning like respected.
Rajab is also known as month of Shab-e-Miraj. this is
celebrate by the Muslim people every year on 27th day Rajab month (Rajab is the
7th month of the Islamic calendar). This festival is celebrated to commemorate
the night when Allah took the Prophet Mohammad to the heaven.
Date time of this month in 2017:
its start from 30th march 2017 and end on 27th April or 28th
April if 1st moon of saban appear in evening of 27th April then month of rajab
is end on 27th april.
27 Rajab, Mi'raj, the day Muhammad is believed to have
ascended to heaven. It is a national holiday in some Muslim countries.
28 Rajab, Husayn ibn ‘Alī started his journey to Karbalā
from Medina.
According to the Gregorian calendar, Prophet Mohammad lived
in the region of Saudi Arabia during 570 CE to 632 CE and took by the Allah to
the heaven during 620 CE. His first part of journey called as Isra (from Mecca
to mosque) second part of journey called Mi’raj (from mosque to heaven). Both
of his journeys are commemorated as the festival of Isra and Mi’raj by all the
Muslim community worldwide.
Some people are listen story or hadith on 27th night of
rajab some people read quran sarif and namaz and also fasting on day of 27th
day of rajab.

Abu Hurairah رضي الله عنه
narrates that
Rasullullah صلي الله عليه وسلم said:
“Whosoever has done a wrong, affecting his brother’s honour
or something else, must ask him for forgiveness now, before that Day comes when
he will have neither Dinaar nor Dirham. (Day of judgment where there will be no
monetary currency)
If he has any good deeds, then these will be subtracted,
equal to his wrong doings;
and if he has no good deeds, then the evil deeds of the one
wronged will be taken and laid upon him.” *(Bukhari)*
Dua For Month of Rajab
Prophet Muhammad S.A.W. Read following dua at beginning of month of Rajab:
Dua: 'Allahumma baa-rik-lanaa fee-rajaba wa sha'baana wa
bal-lig-naa shah-ra ramadhaana.'
